About William Clarke:
Raised in Memphis and educated at the University of Notre Dame, William’s design philosophy was forged in the premier studios of New York City. During a decade in Manhattan, he honed his craft at John B. Murray Architect and Roman and Williams, contributing to projects renowned for their sophisticated blend of traditional soul and contemporary relevance.
William later moved to Atlanta to join McAlpine, further deepening his mastery of "modern traditionalism." In 2023, his commitment to architectural scholarship was recognized when he was named the inaugural Lutyens Trust America Travelling Fellow. This honor allowed for immersive research into the residential mastery of Sir Edwin Lutyens, a study that continues to inform his work.
Now based in Chicago, William brings this national perspective to Chicago, the North Shore, and beyond. He specializes in creating homes that honor classical proportions while effortlessly embracing the way we live today.
